- Facts about the Consulate -
Located in the Royal Place condominium in Samkong, opposite Tesco Lotus, the new office is  located in Songkla province.
Officials from Phuket and Phang Nga  Governor Nisit Jansomwong welcomed Chinese Ambassador to Thailand HE Ning Fukui and Vice Consul General Mrs Wang Huijuan, head of the brand new Phuket Consular Office and the Consul General of The  Republic of China in Songkhla, HE Zhang Jinxiong.
Ambassador Fukui said that the Chinese Government's illustrated by the establishment of the Phuket Consular Office the friendly relationship between southern Thailand and China.
 Pupils in the ASEAN Phuket Thai Hua School and teachers from Confucius Institute Prince of Songkhla University's , entertained  300 guests of the occasion using a variety of cultural performances.
In addition to providing support to the roughly one million Chinese tourists visiting Phuket per year, the consular services include processing of visa applications.
In addition to China's consulate in Phuket, China has 4 other representations in Thailand. These representations include an embassy in Bangkok consulates in Khon Kaen Chiang Mai, and Songkhla.
